Rachel Bruno and volunteers at Dunning School

A food drive was held at the Dunning Elementary School on May 21st to support Daniel’s Table.  The turnout was fantastic!  In total the school donated 265 lbs of food to be distributed to neighbors in need.  A special thanks to Rachel Bruno who organized this event and to Tom O’Reilly, a VIP Volunteer for Daniel’s Table who helped deliver the food to DT.  We were so grateful to Brownie Troop 67217 who met Tom to help unload the van.  These girls not only helped unload, but they also stayed and dated the cans and boxes, sorted the food and stocked our shelves.  They were so dedicated and wanted to do the best job possible.  Lovely young ladies with bright non-profit work in their futures!  Thanks so very much to all that made this possible.  The school, the volunteers, the donors and the Brownie Troop.
