Providing food security to our most vulnerable neighbors

The mission of Daniel’s Table is to provide food security services to our neighbors-in-need with dignity and respect. Offering education and opportunity, we are creating a model that opens healthy food channels to promote physical and emotional health community-wide.

  • Providing neighbors-in-need with a consistent supply of high-quality, healthy, and nutritionally sound food
  • Providing leadership, vision, and nutritional assistance to accomplish the community goal of providing food security to each and every individual or family that may need assistance
  • Creating partnerships between funders, service providers, volunteers, and neighbors-in-need to address food
inequities and overall community health outcomes

Door by door we reach into the community

Discovery is the cornerstone of any real solution to food insecurity. Knowing who is in need so we can respond accordingly is crucial to the success of our programs. That’s why we take a grassroots, door-to-door approach to our process.

Helping others help themselves

Once we find those challenged with food insecurity, we provide them with information and assistance. We want our community to be aware of all regional service providers and the services they offer. We then introduce our programs and determine the depth of services Daniel’s Table will render.

Every family has different needs

Based on the family information we gather, we customize a meal plan that meets their needs and provides them with food security. If it’s an additional seven monthly meals for an elderly resident or 56 monthly meals for a family of four, we do whatever it takes to make sure basic needs are met.

Daniel's Table
This morning, as soon as I parked my car, I was surrounded by 2 women and 3 children. Two of the children, six-year-olds, probably twins, were carrying backpacks. I was a bit puzzled. I rolled down my window. They didn't speak English. I took out my phone and used the translator."We're trying to get to the district" - I didn't know what that means.I used my limited Spanish to ask them to come to the door, so I can get my multilingual coworker to help.- Good morning! Could you please help me here. I think they're asking me for a ride. (They were desperate)Translation done. They had missed the bus and had an appointment at Framingham Public School Registration to register the kids. They were begging for a ride to get there in time, it was 9:20 and the appointment was 9:30AM.We explained we didn't have room for everybody in the car, then we drove the mom and the 2 kids for the appointment. They were really grateful and said, "God will repay you".#helpyourneighbor #lovebeyond #help #community #bettertogether❤️ #education ... See MoreSee Less
