Other Ways To Support

Become A Volunteer

Volunteerism is an integral part of our organization. Your time is an invaluable asset to Daniel’s Table.  We utilize Volunteers for many tasks including but not limited to: Packing the grocery bags for distribution, prepping and packing food for the freezer program, loading and unloading food deliveries, general clean up, organizing dry and canned goods.  Sometimes we even need food tasters!  We try and incorporate fun in the things we do here.  Hopefully, you will join us!  Please register to volunteer at www.weallvolunteer.org

Food Drives

What a great way to get the younger volunteers and families involved in our mission.  Perhaps you have a Boy or Girl Scout Troop, or families looking to come together to help our neighbors.  Daniel’s Table is always looking for shelf-stable pantry items such as:

  • Pasta Sauce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Canned Beans
  • Healthy snack foods: Granola Bars, Applesauce, Nuts
  • Shelf Stable Milk

Get creative and have some fun!  We can always invite your group to Daniel’s Table to see how your donations are being used!

Donations can be dropped off at Daniel’s Table between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.  Just ring the doorbell and one of our staff will greet you at the door.  Thank you!

Get The Kids Involved

Content for this section:  There are many ways for your children to get involved.  Think outside the box!  Maybe your children could organize activities that they can do outside or remote with their friends!

  • Read- A-Thons
  • Jump rope contests
  • How many burpees can you do in 5 minutes?
  • Bake sales are fun!
  • Crafts that you can make and then sell?

These are just a few ideas to get you started!  No idea is too small.  Have fun with it and know that your creativeness will help our neighbors in need!  Thank you!
